Derek F. Hevel
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT + Standards Manager
Derek (he/him) has practiced landscape architecture and design for almost 15 years. He has experience on a wide variety of project types, including park planning and design, single- and multi-family landscapes and gardens, and K-12 school design. Derek focuses on realizing maximum function and sustainability in his work, making the most out of all the elements that make space and place for people, plants, and animals alike.
For a few years prior to joining EW’s Landscape Architecture Studio, Derek served as a landscape consultant for its building projects. He enjoys EW’s community-focused projects, as well as the socially- and environmentally-aware culture of its mission and team members.
