Nasreen Al-Tamimi

Project Architect 3, Social Justice Coordinator

Nasreen’s Architectural education in the UAE inspired her passion for user-centered design and she aspired to play a role in designing the built environment to improve people’s lives. She was a co-founder of a not-for-profit design association that created, ran, and exhibited collaborative participatory design workshops, giving everyday Dubai residents an opportunity to voice their ideas about spaces in the city. Moving to the USA and witnessing homelessness in Las Vegas motivated her interest in affordable housing and low-income neighborhoods. She joins EW looking forward to working on community-driven collaborative design projects for people who need it the most. If she isn’t working or playing with her kids, she enjoys urban sketching, rollerblading and travelling.
