Alise Kuwahara-Day

Project Architect

Alise (she/her) is a Seattle-area native who believes in architecture’s ability to increase equity in our communities. This belief drew her to Environmental Works, where she enjoys working with nonprofit clients on affordable housing, early learning centers, and community centers. In addition to her role as Project Architect, Alise served as Associate Director and Director of People + Culture from 2021–2025. She continues to advocate for a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Outside of work, she can often be found spending time with family, reading, and baking more sweets than she should eat.
