Environmental Works Community Design Center is a non-profit, community-based architectural firm providing professional architectural and planning services to non-profit organizations and otherwise under-represented communities in the Puget Sound area. Since our founding on Earth Day, 1970, we have resided in the historic Fire Station 7 building in the heart of Capitol Hill, Seattle. Environmental Works has completed over 400 affordable housing projects, creating over 5,100+ affordable homes.

Grounded in the belief that design can be a powerful tool for social equity and sustainability, Environmental Works partners with mission-driven clients to create spaces that strengthen communities.
