Mariana was drawn to Environmental Works because of their mission to serve under-represented communities and her belief that great architecture should be accessible to everyone and should be designed to bring communities together. Mariana earned her architecture degree at the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism from the University of Buenos Aires (FADU-UBA) in 2011. First as a student, and then as a licensed architect in Argentina, social justice and inclusive design have been part of Mariana’s education and understanding of the practice of architecture. She is thrilled to be able to bring those values back to her everyday practice and hopes that her diverse and international background will bring a positive impact in the communities she will be serving. Besides working, she loves to travel and discover new cultures and foods.
