Pine Lake Park

Shoreline restoration & New shelter in Sammamish, wa

The primary goals of this project were to improve various areas of this shoreline park including replacement of the dock, new covered picnic shelters, upgraded pathways, improved entry ways, improved stormwater control with raingardens and native plantings, improving the beach area for use by both people and salmon, and maximizing preservation of a dense canopy of Douglas firs. Other responsibilities include picnic shelter assessment and replacement, drainage improvements, pedestrian entry improvements, miscellaneous landscaping including raingardens and permitting assistance.

This project was designed by Barker Landscape Architects (now with Environmental Works).
